We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Banquet Houseman to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team! We are looking for dedicated and professional Banquet Server to join our team.

Reporting to the Director of Banquets, as a Banquet Houseman, you will play a crucial role in supporting our banquet operations by setting up and breaking down event spaces, ensuring they are clean, organized, and prepared for each event hosted at our luxury resort.

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and tableware.
• Assist with the transportation and setup of audiovisual equipment, stage platforms, and other event-related items as needed.
• Provide support to banquet servers and bartenders by replenishing supplies, clearing tables, and assisting with service as directed.
• Break down banquet rooms and event spaces after events, removing linens, dishes, and decorations, and returning furniture to its original layout.
• Clean banquet rooms, hallways, and public areas, including vacuuming, mopping, and dusting, to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Collaborate with banquet captains, event planners, and other staff members to ensure smooth execution of events.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Previous experience as a banquet houseman or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as tables and chairs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least [age requirement] years old.
