Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow, staff coordination, and exceptional service standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
  • Ensure that all guests receive excellent service by managing the floor and addressing any service issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and service, aligning with the restaurant’s vision.
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow, optimizing the dining experience for all guests.
  • Monitor and maintain high levels of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving revenue goals while ensuring an upscale guest experience.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with scheduling and staffing, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and developing staff to uphold service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fine dining restaurant management or upscale hospitality.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest service.
  • Knowledge of fine dining etiquette, wine, and food pairing is a plus.
  • Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
