As the Maintenance Lead, you'll play a key role in bringing our vision to life by leading our maintenance crew and providing general maintenance to the property. Responsibilities

  • Maintain the resort facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Manage adequate inventory of parts, supplies, tools, and material for the department.
  • Must be able to respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms, and other life-safety situations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all federal, state, local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Conducts walk-through and visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structures of the property, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and any other related equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance to guest rooms, villas and public areas. Receive daily work assignments and review priorities and special projects.
  • Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.
  • Perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and carpentry work orders as needed.
  • Assist other engineering personnel as instructed by Manager in regards to routine and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of experience in the facilities management of related properties or other comparable business.
  • Must have extensive working knowledge of building systems to include but not limited to; HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, roofs, building finishes, mechanical operations, energy management, and Preventative Maintenance Programs.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear.
  • Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8-hour work shift.
  • Must be capable of frequently carrying, and lifting, pushing or pulling up to 75lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to an indoor and outdoor working environment and the noise level in the workplace is usually moderate to high.
  • Typical equipment used include but are not limited to hand tools, power tools, shovels, and computers.
