Overview

This position is responsible for main storeroom food and beverage and operations procurement, as well as receiving and distribution of requisitions, and resort supplies. They are responsible for monitoring the receipt and issuance of inventory items supervise the semi-annual physical inventory, monitor the movement of inventory, ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory.

Responsibilities

Ensures inspection of all deliveries to verify accuracy and quality of product Conducts inventories. Maintains inventory controls for proper levels, dating, rotation, requisitions, etc.. Keeps departments informed by confirming and clarifying purchase orders. Manage F&B storeroom. Ensure/prepare all requested or assigned reports are complete in a timely and accurate manner. Implements and enforces all control procedures for hotel goods entering through the purchasing / receiving areas. Ensures accurate administration of all invoices and adheres to proper bookkeeping procedures. Establish and nurture vendor partnerships. Use effective and professional communication to ensure that the department functions properly and associates interface with one another for effective execution in planning and operations. Ensure that all current and future SOPs relating to the Purchasing / Receiving department are understood and all related parties trained to perform to such standards.

Qualifications

3 years previous experience in purchasing/procurement. Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel/leisure sector. Extremely well organized and able to work independently. Strong financial knowledge and ability to work with budgets Computer literate, with good MS, Excel, and Word skills. Good time management and organization skills. High School graduate. Compute mathematical calculations.
