The Accounting Manager provides financial oversight to ensure the accuracy and integrity of business office operations including accounts payable and receivable functions, purchasing, point-of-sale, and owner and membership accounting.

The role is expected to be at Suncadia for three days per week on average with the remaining time flexible to be remote or on-site based on individual preference and work style. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate who is interested in relocating to the local area.

Annual Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000

• Partner with operating departments in achieving all financial and operational commitments.
•  Provide oversight to assigned areas; actively work with each team member on training and development.
• In partnership with IT, learn and coordinate all financial system upgrades, including implementation of new ERP system.
• Take ownership in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledgers and supporting schedules and reconciliations for the Company and consolidated subsidiaries of the Company
• Review and update all documentation for key financial processes.
•  Coach and counsel employees to reflect service standards and procedures
• Work cross-organizationally and functionally to identify key opportunities in process, technical, and human interfaces and develop and implement plans to capitalize on those opportunities and measure and monitor success and impacts.
• Oversee and coordinate the scheduling, execution and reconciliation of month-end physical inventories. Perform test counts, investigate variances, review the resulting adjustments, and make recommendations on changes to procedures to reduce future variances
•  Prepare month end entries and review monthly departmental COGS to ensure the relationship to sales is reasonable and correct
• Partner with Controller in monthly forecasting process and support annual planning process.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business from an accredited college/university
•  Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with Hospitality and/or auditing experience a strong preference
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Demonstrated strong technical and analytical skills and a track record of success working in a team-based environment.
• Excellent organization and communication skills
•  Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and persistence in the face of obstacles.
• Understanding of General accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and standards
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications
• Experience with Oracle or other similar ERP systems
