Garden Maintenance & Production:
• Prepare soil and planting beds for seasonal crops and flowers.
• Select, plant, water, weed, and harvest to maintain a beautiful and productive garden.
• Prune shrubs, deadhead flowers, and cultivate planting beds to ensure a vibrant and healthy environment.
• Hand-water the garden as needed and assist with irrigation line maintenance.
Guest Engagement & Experience:
• Offer assistance to guests and provide engaging garden tours.
• Be knowledgeable about Suncadia’s history and services to answer guest questions.
• Show enthusiasm and professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction.
Teamwork & Organization:
• Store tools properly and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Support community garden initiatives and assist with group and education garden activities.
• Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks in a timely and professional manner.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer Oriented;
• Detail Oriented;
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid Washington State driver's license
• Experience in planting and weeding
• Ability to safely operate small power tools
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and performing physically demanding tasks
• Strong English communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate with the team
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new skills
• Basic plant identification, seed-saving knowledge, and understanding of soil science are a plus
• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit;
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays;
• Ability to work well with others and function well in a fast-paced environment.
