Overview

Town and Country Resort is seeking a Lapper Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our poolside bar & grill. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality service, supervising staff, and maintaining an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have prior food and beverage supervisory experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to hospitality excellence. Pay Rate $23.00 #TowncountrySD

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of Lapper, ensuring efficiency and outstanding guest service.
  • Lead and support team members by providing guidance, training, and motivation.
  • Monitor service standards, ensuring food and beverages are prepared and served according to resort standards.
  • Assist in scheduling, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to improve operations and enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including cocktails and POS systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 25 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed for service and stocking.
  • Comfortable working in an outdoor poolside environment, including exposure to sun and varying temperatures.
