Overview

Job Overview:
IT Manager is responsible for all aspects of end-user support, including tracking, research, review, and remediation of tickets for all office users at assigned location. Hardware and software configuration and support for end-user equipment. Ordering and inventory control for user-assigned equipment. Workflow planning, time management, and projects related to end-user support. Responsible for workflow of help desk team and assignment of tasks including follow up on tickets and assignment of tasks and projects. Responsible for determining escalation of tickets and issues to TIER 2 and TIER 3 resources. Vendor communication and issue escalation.

Salary Range $68,640/year- $75,000/year

• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
• Must be able to stand on feet and walk throughout the day, including walking on uneven ground
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

Prerequisites:
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative and an enthusiastic team player who displays good human relations’ skills.
• Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.

 

Essential Qualifications:
• 2 years of professional experience in computer support environment. Hospitality is a plus.
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and configuration.
• Understanding of network fundamentals and TCP/IP standards.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Time management skills and ability to work in a demanding environment with multiple deadlines.
• Organized and can work in a team environment.
• Deliver consistent service to all users of differing skill levels and requirements.

Experience with Microsoft software required. Experience in a networked computer environment. Excellent oral and written communications skills required. Knowledge of wireless (Wi-Fi) systems. Previous Hotel or Resort experience desired. Must be able to work flexible days/hours – some on-call duty imay be required.
