As a PC Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our hotel’s IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing our computer systems to ensure smooth daily operations. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for technology and a knack for problem-solving in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

 

• Technical Support: Provide timely and effective support for PC hardware and software issues encountered by hotel staff.
• System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripheral devices, and related IT equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operational efficiency.
• Network Assistance: Support the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure within the hotel.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT issues, solutions, and system configurations.
• Staff Training: Educate team members on best practices for utilizing technology and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team to implement system upgrades, security patches, and new technologies to enhance service delivery.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in PC support, IT troubleshooting, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows), and common business applications.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical staff.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus but not required.
