The People Services Department plays a critical role in recruiting and retaining top hospitality talent to ensure exceptional service at both properties.

 

Job Summary:

The Recruiter at Black Desert Resort and Red Mountain Resort is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent to support resort operations. Reporting to the Director of people services, this role partners with department managers to identify staffing needs, implement recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. The Recruiter will focus on attracting high-caliber hospitality professionals, ensuring compliance with hiring policies, and promoting both resorts as employers of choice.

Onsite: Black Desert Resort & Red Mountain Resort
Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Rate: $65,000 - $75,000/yr. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for all resort positions.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, including job postings, career fairs, networking, and digital recruitment campaigns.
  • Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and create proactive talent pipelines.
  • Conduct phone screenings, in-person and virtual interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience, providing timely communication and feedback throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment data, ensuring compliance with hiring policies.
  • Coordinate and execute onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Manage relationships with local workforce organizations, universities, and recruitment agencies to enhance hiring efforts.
  • Support visa and seasonal hiring programs as needed
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics, making data-driven recommendations for hiring improvements.
  • Represent both resorts at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to attract top hospitality talent.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality roles, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, spa, and golf operations.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of EEO laws, hiring compliance, and recruitment best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HR software, and digital recruitment tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for hiring events.
