Job Summary:

The Host at Red Mountain Resort – Canyon Breeze Restaurant is responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager this role plays a key part in maintaining efficient service flow, guest satisfaction, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Onsite: Red Mountain Resort – Canyon Breeze

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Part-Time

Pay Rate: $14/hr. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

· Greet guests warmly, providing a friendly and professional first impression.

· Manage reservations and seating assignments, ensuring efficient table flow and minimal wait times.

· Escort guests to tables and communicate menu highlights and daily specials.

· Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and dietary accommodations.

· Maintain a clean and organized host stand, entryway, and dining room.

· Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.

· Monitor restaurant occupancy and assist with walk-in guests and waitlist management.

· Uphold hospitality and service standards, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in a Food & Beverage setting

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-first approach.

· Ability to multi-task and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of restaurant reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable,) is a plus.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
