Job Summary:

 

The Retail Supervisor at Red Mountain Outfitters is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail boutique, supporting guest satisfaction, supervising staff, and maintaining a visually appealing and organized store environment. This role combines customer service excellence with retail operational expertise, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless shopping experience that enhances their resort stay.

 

Job Specifications:

Onsite: Red Mountain Resort
Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Rate: $19 – $22/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of Red Mountain Outfitters, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth transactions
  • Supervise and assist with training, scheduling, and mentoring retail associates
  • Maintain the visual merchandising standards, including displays, signage, cleanliness, and stock presentation
  • Process sales accurately using the POS system and handle returns or exchanges in line with resort policy
  • Track and manage inventory, restocking needs, and special orders
  • Support the buying and receiving process, including unpacking merchandise and preparing new product launches
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a boutique or resort setting
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for wellness, outdoor adventure, or fitness lifestyle brands
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Proficient with POS systems, inventory management, and basic merchandising
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and peak resort seasons
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
