Job Summary:

 

The Spa Supervisor assists the Spa Manager in overseeing the daily operations of Sagestone Spa, including guest service, spa scheduling, retail support, and team supervision. This position ensures that all spa areas are clean, calm, and fully prepared to deliver high-quality wellness experiences. The Spa Supervisor also acts as the manager-on-duty when the Spa Manager is offsite, supporting the team and responding to guest needs.

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Range: $20 – $24/hr This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily spa operations, including front desk coverage, appointment scheduling, and guest check-in/check-out
  • Assist with the supervision and scheduling of spa attendants and receptionists
  • Ensure treatment rooms, locker areas, relaxation spaces, retail space and public areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Provide guidance and support to spa team members and help resolve guest concerns
  • Monitor supply inventory and assist with ordering retail and operational products
  • Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and assist with VIP or group bookings
  • Support retail merchandising, product knowledge training, and sales tracking
  • Serve as the point of contact for therapists or providers during shift hours
  • Assist with opening and closing duties and act as manager-on-duty in absence of Spa Manager

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a spa or wellness center, with some supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Strong guest service and communication skills, with a calming and professional presence
  • Familiarity with spa software systems (e.g., SpaSoft, Mindbody, or similar)
  • Knowledge of spa and wellness treatments, products, and terminology
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a tranquil yet active environment
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and peak resort times
