Overview

As ARLO Morning Server, you will be the first point of contact for guests starting their day in our elevated dining outlet. You’ll provide attentive, elevated service while delivering an exceptional breakfast or brunch experience. From anticipating guest needs to guiding them through menu selections, your professionalism and warmth will set the tone for their entire day. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.

  • Guide guests through breakfast/brunch menu offerings, making personalized recommendations.

  • Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely and courteous manner.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, including dietary options, ingredients, and pairings.

  • Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to kitchen staff effectively.

  • Ensure table settings are pristine and reset quickly between seatings.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly and graciously.

  • Assist in setup and breakdown of morning service, including polishing glassware, silverware, and prep work.

  • Process guest checks accurately and efficiently using POS systems.

  • Work collaboratively with fellow servers, hosts, and culinary team to ensure smooth service flow.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of previous upscale breakfast service experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.

  • Knowledge of wine, coffee service, and specialty breakfast cocktails is a plus.

  • Familiarity with POS systems (Micros, Aloha, or similar).

  • Must have or be able to obtain a current Food Handler Card and RBS certificate.

  • Flexible schedule and availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and balance trays with food or beverages (up to 30 lbs).

  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting during service hours.

  • Ability to move swiftly and gracefully through a fast-paced dining room.

  • Must be comfortable working in indoor and outdoor dining environments, depending on resort layout.
