Overview

Spend your summer outdoors at beautiful Caldera Springs! We're looking for friendly and energetic Recreation Attendants to join our team and help create unforgettable guest experiences through fun activities and exceptional service. The Recreation Ambassador will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and assisting guests with recreational equipment.  The Recreation Attendant will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards.

 

The Recreation Attendant will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open and Honest Communication, and Commitment.

 

The Recreation Attendant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!

Responsibilities

  • Must maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards all owners and guests 
  • Cater to the needs and special requests of all owners and guests
  • Assists guests and owners with recreation activities (bikes, canoes/kayaks and other equipment)
  • Assists guests and owners with access to the Caldera Links and Golf Park, including club rentals and cart usage
  • Ensure guests have proper safety equipment for all recreational activities
  • Must be able to function alone as well as an effective team member.
  • Perform opening and closing duties of the recreational amenities and golf course  
  • Responds politely to public inquiries regarding Caldera Springs/Sunriver Resort.
  • Maintain a professional and organized work area at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least one year customer service experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
  • Must be highly detailed orientated
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
  • Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
  • Red Cross/CPR Certified (SRLP will provide training).
  • Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking;
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance;
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and occasional squeezing & overhead reaching;
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis;
  • Must be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);
  • Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).
