Overview

Everline Resort & Spa blends luxury, adventure, and warm hospitality. As part of our commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience, we are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Manager of Transportation and Guest Services to lead our shuttle operations.  This position shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times.  The Transportation Manager is responsible for creating an excellent, memorable first impression. This position is fully committed to ensuring that all procedures are performed to the department and company standards and serve as an ambassador for Everline Resort and Spa.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the transportation team, ensuring smooth and professional guest service delivery at all times.

  • Oversee resort shuttle services, including scheduling, route optimization, maintenance coordination, and driver performance.

  • Monitor guest feedback and implement service recovery and improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (including DOT, CHP, & ADA requirements).

  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and professionalism across all transportation areas.

  • Collaborate with the Front Office and Concierge teams to create a seamless guest experience.

  • Manage departmental budgets, labor forecasting, and vendor relationships for vehicle maintenance and fleet management.

  • Support special events, group arrivals, and VIP guest needs through proactive planning and coordination.

  • Maintain and successfully execute departmental and hotel policies (to include but not limited to relocation procedures, safe deposit box procedures, auditing accuracy of cards with proper signatures, key control procedures, accurate billing, cashiering, safety, lost/found policy, etc.).
  • Assist management to recruit, hire, train, and successfully support and manage the talent of all new and existing team members.
  • Assists in the scheduling and planning of Guest Transportation and International Student Transportation
  • Serves as a liaison to the Guest Service Manager responsible for the shift, ensuring the resorts compliance with all DOT and CHP Laws.
  • Other related duties that may be assigned by a company manager from time-to-time.
  • Additional duties as assigned. The Transportation Manager will be expected to work varying hours including weekends, evenings, nights, etc.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in guest services or transportation management within a luxury resort or hospitality environment.

  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams with a hands-on, guest-focused approach.

  • Knowledge of shuttle logistics, valet operations, fleet safety, and guest service protocols.

  • Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a proactive mindset.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of frequently carrying, lifting. pushing or pulling up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to an indoor and outdoor working environment and the noise level in the workplace is usually moderate to high.
  • Typical equipment used include but are not limited to computers and handheld devices.
