Overview

As a Houseperson at Town and Country Resort, you’ll play a vital support role in keeping our 671 guest rooms and 39-acre property clean, refreshed, and guest-ready. Working closely with Room Attendants and Supervisors, the Houseperson ensures that linens, supplies, and amenities are stocked and delivered, guest areas remain tidy, and service requests are handled with care and timeliness. This is a physically demanding position perfect for someone who enjoys being active, moving across a beautiful resort landscape, and contributing behind the scenes to an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities

  • Deliver linens, towels, amenities, rollaway beds, and housekeeping supplies to guest rooms and service areas.

  • Remove trash, dirty linen, and recyclables from hallways and guest floors.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage rooms, carts, and common areas.

  • Respond promptly to guest and team requests via radio or mobile task system.

  • Support deep-cleaning efforts by assisting with furniture moving and floor care.

  • Assist with room resets or quick turns during high occupancy.

  • Ensure all public and back-of-house areas remain clean, safe, and stocked during the evening shift.

  • Collaborate closely with Room Attendants, Laundry, and Housekeeping Supervisors to meet daily goals.

  • Follow all safety, security, and sanitation procedures as outlined in resort policies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, physical environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and guest service mindset.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully in English; bilingual a plus.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, and lift throughout the entire shift (8+ hours).

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, including bags of linen, boxes, and equipment.

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs across various areas of the resort.

  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions.

  • Must be comfortable using carts, vacuum cleaners, and basic cleaning tools safely and effectively.
