Job Summary:

 

The Lead Front Desk Agent at Sagestone Spa serves as a senior-level point of contact for spa guests and fellow team members, providing elevated guest service and assisting with daily front desk operations. This position supports the Spa Manager by helping to ensure smooth appointment scheduling, guest flow, and communication between spa staff. The ideal candidate is confident, guest-focused, detail-oriented, and well-versed in spa systems and services.

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time
  • Pay Rate: $16.50/hr. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all spa guests warmly and assist with check-in, check-out, and service orientation
  • Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments using spa management software
  • Serve as the “go-to” front desk agent for troubleshooting scheduling conflicts, guest requests, or spa service questions
  • Provide support to front desk team members, especially new hires, through informal guidance and best practice sharing
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of spa treatments, therapists, retail products, and seasonal promotions
  • Handle payment transactions, apply discounts, redeem gift cards, and process gratuities accurately
  • Communicate clearly with providers, attendants, and the Spa Manager to ensure accurate guest flow and timing
  • Ensure spa lobby, front desk, and retail displays remain clean, organized, and guest-ready
  • Answer phones, respond to email inquiries, and assist with spa-related guest requests
  • Help monitor daily booking volume and anticipate high-traffic periods or staffing needs
  • Assist with daily opening and closing duties, cash reconciliation, and supply restocking
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a spa or hospitality front desk agent
  • Prior experience with spa booking systems (e.g., Mindbody, SpaSoft, Book4Time) strongly preferred
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain calm professionalism in a serene guest-focused environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to adapt to last-minute schedule changes or guest needs
  • Knowledge of spa services, products, or wellness industry is a plus
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
