The Pool & Beach Supervisor will provide assistance to guests at our private beach as well as at our pool with stunning Gulf Coast views. You will be interacting daily with our discerning owners, club members and vacation renters and their families who are in search of the best service experience while being able to relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of Kaiya and the surrounding area.
• Participate in and/or oversee set-up and breakdown of pool and beach loungers, umbrellas, towels and additional guest amenities.
• Available for member and guest requests and exhibits an understanding of the resort amenities and local area.
• Coordinate cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining equipment in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department, and County health department.
• Knowledge of Walton County Beach Vending regulations & ensures all team members abide by these regulations and are aware of them.
• Communicate effectively with management, guest services and other team members to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by owners, members, guests and or other Associates.
• Always being positive, thoughtful, showing enthusiasm, being humble, being thankful, and being respectful to all team members and patrons.
• Monitor weather throughout the day and react appropriately based on rain, lightening and wind forecasts.
• Brings to manager attention promptly issues with equipment, service or operations in beach & pool areas.
• Assists Manager with scheduling, recruitment & disciplining team members where necessary.
• Flexible schedule – available to work morning, afternoon and evenings, weekdays, and weekends as well as holidays.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
• This position involves working for extended periods of time outdoors in direct sunlight and heat.
• Must possess positive attitude and desire to deliver exceptional guest service at all times.
• Excellent customer service skills and a knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food are preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
• At least two years of Food & Beverage experience required.
• Strong computer skills & knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
• Professional, neat and tidy personal appearance.
• This position is available to individuals 18 years or older as service of alcoholic beverages will be required.
• High School or equivalent education preferred.
Working Environment/Physical Demands
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
Must be able to lift up to 15-40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment.
