**This position is Remote. East Coast Required.**

 

Join us for this incredible opportunity at Wild Dunes vacation Rentals, located in the Isle of Palms, South Carolina, to be part of our Reservations Team as a full-time Reservations Agent. Every guest’s unique stay experience begins with a customized and authentic reservations experience. The Reservation Sales Associate is critical to ensure each guest has an amazing stay by focusing on a customized experience, accuracy of reservations, proactively communicating hotel information to the guest, and setting up the operations team for success. 

Responsibilities

  • Creating a personalized guest reservations experience by accurately inputting guest contact information Adding information to guest history such as; previous stay experience, special occasions, preferences, and other pertinent information. 
  • Maintaining complete knowledge of the hotel and other information including the following: 
  • All hotel facilities/services offered and hours of operation 
  • All accommodations, layout, décor, attributes and locations 
  • Special packages and promotions 
  • All spa treatments and offerings, their benefits and costs 
  • Daily stats, including availability 
  • Entertainment/special events scheduled on property and in the area 
  • Directions to the resort from airports and other major landmarks 
  • General info, descriptions and directions for local services, restaurants, wineries and points of interest. 
  • Answers all incoming calls in less than three rings in a professional and friendly demeanor following hotel call quality and brand standards. 
  • Upselling services and offerings as appropriate, ensuring that each guest is fully educated about the resorts’ offerings. 
  • Actively participates in training. 
  • Achieves monthly individual & team conversion and revenue goals. 
  • Pursues outbound revenue opportunities through our Revinate lead management system. 
  • Assists with Travel Agent requests and emails.  Ensures all requests and communication are replied to within Service Guidelines. 
  • Keeps current with all communication and hotel information and communicates to other reservation sales associates as needed. 
  • Ensure appropriate guest follow-up takes place in a timely and proper fashion, in accordance with the standard operating procedures. 
  • Provide detailed notes and comments in the lead management system and PMS regarding guest requests to ensure a quality guest experience. 
  • Assists with group rooming lists & third-party reservation completion as needed. 
  • Maintains rate integrity in accordance with revenue management strategies.   
  • Attends and participates in reservations meeting. 
  • Maintains call compliance and accurate coding of reservation calls and leads. 

Qualifications

  • Must have previous reservation sales experience, including usage of Revinate. 
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time. 
  • Ability to travel to hotels and work onsite for extended periods. 
  • Must have a quiet, dedicated space, free of distractions if remote. 
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite. 
  • High school graduate or equivalent 
  • People person – must possess a professional, positive presentation and strong motivation to provide exceptional customer service 
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced, demanding work environment; must be flexible to changes in direction, routine and scheduling. 
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions and multitask. 
  • Required strong proactive verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Ability to use office equipment in an effective and efficient manner. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work as a team-player and accept assignments from multiple individuals 
  • Ability to work in a remote environment.
