Overview

As the Pool Supervisor, you’ll oversee the daily operations and guest experience at our two large resort pools and cabanas. This includes supervising and training the pool attendant team, ensuring the pool deck is safe, clean, and organized, and upholding high standards of guest service and cleanliness throughout the pool area. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Pay Rate $23.00 #towncountrysd

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the pool area, including pools, hot tub, cabanas, and surrounding areas.

  • Oversee and supervise Pool Attendants, ensuring proper coverage for opening, peak, and closing shifts.

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of pool deck furniture, cabanas, towel stations, and storage areas.

  • Inspect and maintain cabanas daily: clean surfaces, restock amenities, report maintenance issues.

  • Enforce resort policies and pool safety rules while maintaining a friendly, guest-first approach.

  • Provide coaching and hands-on training to new and existing Pool Attendants.

  • Monitor and report facility or equipment maintenance issues to Engineering promptly.

  • Support poolside service operations (towels, water stations, deliveries, etc.) in collaboration with F&B and Activities.

  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.

  • Perform regular walk-throughs to ensure a safe and inviting environment.

  • Maintain accurate shift reports, supply logs, and incident reports.

Qualifications

    • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a pool, resort, or recreation setting preferred

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to lead by example in a physically demanding, guest-facing environment

    • Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certifications a plus

    • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak season shifts

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods (up to 8 hours)

    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., umbrellas, supplies, equipment)

    • Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting involved

    • Must be able to work in outdoor conditions, including sun and varying weather

    • Comfortable climbing stairs and navigating uneven terrain across pool deck areas
