Job Summary

 

The Assistant Marketing Manager at Black Desert Resort and Red Mountain Resort will lead the execution of marketing initiatives that align with the resort's goals of increasing brand visibility, driving bookings, and enhancing guest engagement. This role will manage day-to-day marketing efforts, guide campaign execution, oversee content and asset development, and coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure cohesive brand storytelling. The Assistant Marketing Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Marketing but will be responsible for independently managing a wide range of marketing functions.

  • Salary Range: $52,500 - $55,000/year

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including social media, email, website, print, and signage.
  • Manage and execute content calendars and promotional timelines, ensuring brand alignment and timely delivery.
  • Oversee creative production and distribution of marketing materials including menus, brochures, flyers, newsletters, and digital signage.
  • Develop and schedule email campaigns targeting resort guests, prospects, and database segments.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance across channels, using data to inform future marketing efforts.
  • Maintain website accuracy and update content as needed to reflect current offerings and seasonal promotions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and campaign success.
  • Assist in storytelling initiatives and content development for social media and influencer programs.
  • Begin to lead prearrival messaging strategies and assist in refining the brand narrative across platforms.
  • Provide project leadership on cross-functional initiatives such as packages, events, promotions, and new concept rollouts.
  • Manage, train, and support the Marketing Coordinator, delegating projects and providing mentorship to ensure effective execution and professional development.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of marketing experience, preferably within the hospitality, resort, or tourism industry.
  • Experience managing execution across multiple marketing channels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with marketing platforms (email, CMS, analytics, social media scheduling tools).
  • Creative problem-solver with an eye for detail and a strong sense of brand.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing collaboratively to team initiatives.
