The Safety & Security Supervisor plays a critical role in upholding the safety, security, and well-being of our guests, team members, and property. This position supports departmental leadership by overseeing daily operations, coordinating and mentoring team members, and ensuring that the highest standards of professionalism and guest service are maintained—even in high-pressure situations. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills, a guest-first mindset, and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Safety & Security leadership team in the coordination, training, and performance oversight of security personnel.

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of incidents, training records, and operational reports.

  • Lead by example in delivering discreet, service-oriented enforcement of hotel policies and procedures.

  • Respond calmly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns, maintaining a polished demeanor at all times.

  • Assist with scheduling and perform officer duties as needed based on operational demand.

  • Maintain the highest level of personal appearance and ensure team compliance with Forbes standards.

  • Conduct routine patrols of the property to proactively identify potential safety and security concerns.

  • Serve as a liaison between the Safety & Security and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

  • Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with established protocols.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality, security, or a related field, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Guard Card) highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (incident reporting systems, email, scheduling tools, etc.).
  • Proven ability to lead by example with a strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Must be able to safely operate vehicles and respond swiftly to emergency situations.

  • Occasional lifting, bending, and exposure to various weather conditions while on patrol.

Compensation:

Base Pay Start Rate: $29.87/Hr
