• Provide exceptional leadership to maintenance team members.
• Maintain and be a point of contact for all things related to maintenance/engineering.
• Ensure the highest quality work standards are being performed by staff, in all tasks and assignments according to performance and safety standards.
• Ensure the execution of exemplary customer service standards by self and staff, in all areas.
• Assist with selection, training, supervision, development, discipline, and counseling of staff in accordance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and ensure compliance.
• Assist with the implementation of safety programs.
• Maintain and refine preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure all equipment is safe and operational.
• Is immediately available in the event of an on-property emergency.
• Assist hotel departments in maintaining a safe and acceptable working environment.
• Manage project timelines; anticipates the future.
• Provide prompt follow-up to all guest/associate concerns.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant work environment.
• Maintain and repairs tools and equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
• Attend staff meetings if/when requested.

• Minimum 3 (three) years' supervisory experience in facilities or maintenance operations wihting a hospitality environment (e.g. hotels, resorts, or conference centers).
• Proven track record in managing an efficient work force focusing on preventative maintenance of the asset's public areas, guestrooms, and physical plant.
• Experience in organizing, implementing, and maintaining a preventative maintenance tracking system and work order system.
• Must be able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system problems.
• Must have working knowledge of building systems to include but not limited to; HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, roofs, building finishes, mechanical operations, energy management and Preventative Maintenance Programs.
• Proven ability to take charge and work with minimum supervision.
• Necessary to be able to hear emergency alarms and follow and direct appropriate emergency procedures.
• Strong communication skills- both oral and written. Proven command of the English language, both oral and written.
• Strong PC skills with an emphasis on Excel.
