Back Table at The Woodlands Resort is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled On-Call Bartender to join our dynamic team. As an on-call bartender, you’ll use your mixology talents to craft and serve both classic and creative beverages while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and enjoys the flexibility of an on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and creativity.
  • Provide warm, friendly, and engaging service to every guest.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
  • Follow all state, federal, and property-specific alcohol service regulations.
  • Promote and accurately take food and beverage orders at the bar.
  • Ensure proper portion control and presentation of all drinks.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely.
  • Perform daily bar setup and breakdown, including stocking and cleaning.
  • Maintain fresh garnishes and ingredients to ensure quality.
  • Lock and secure all bar items and complete cash drops at the end of each shift.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of bartending or customer service experience in a similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must possess a valid Food Handler Certification and TABC (or equivalent alcohol service) certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Energetic, friendly, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
