Job Summary:

 

The Latitude Food & Beverage General Manager is responsible for the leadership, financial performance, and day-to-day operations of multiple F&B outlets at Black Desert Resort, including Latitudes Restaurant, Lava Love Coffee Bar, Flo Bar, and the resort’s Pool F&B service. This leader will drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team development across these locations while maintaining the luxury standards and culture of Black Desert Resort. The role requires strategic oversight, strong hospitality instincts, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional resort teams.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Onsite: Black Desert Resort
  • Schedule: Year-Round / Full-Time
  • Pay Range: $85,000 – $95,000/year plus incentive bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to offer for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and long-term strategy for Latitudes Restaurant, Lava Love Coffee Bar, Flo Bar, and Pool F&B services.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate front-of-house managers, supervisors, and hourly staff across all outlets.
  • Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional service, consistency, and attentiveness to feedback.
  • Maintain operational standards for cleanliness, presentation, and guest service across all venues.
  • Partner with Executive Chef and culinary team to align food offerings with guest preferences and seasonal trends.
  • Analyze P&L reports and labor forecasts; manage budgets, expenses, and cost controls for all outlets.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, promotions, and events to boost F&B revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Monitor POS systems and service flows to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle escalated guest concerns and ensure high standards of issue resolution.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and collaborate with other resort departments including Culinary, Events, Membership, Housekeeping, and Engineering.
  • Uphold resort values and brand standards across all F&B touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive food & beverage leadership, ideally in a luxury resort or hotel setting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple F&B venues simultaneously.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and P&L accountability.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of specialty coffee operations, cocktail programming, and fast-paced pool or lounge service a plus.
  • Experience managing both a-la-carte and high-volume service models.
  • Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Micros. Toast, Aloha), labor management tools, and reservation software.
  • Valid Manager Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications required (or ability to obtain).
