Job Summary:

 

The Revenue Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the resort’s pricing and inventory strategies by analyzing market data, forecasting trends, and generating actionable insights that maximize revenue. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Finance to optimize room pricing, group bookings, and ancillary revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in revenue systems and reporting tools.

Shift & Schedule Availability: Temporary / Part Time
Pay Range: $30/Hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, demand drivers, competitor pricing, and internal performance metrics.
  • Support the development and execution of pricing strategies for transient, group, and corporate segments.
  • Assist in maintaining and analyzing forecast models for occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Reservations, Sales, and Marketing teams to optimize channel mix and business segmentation.
  • Assist in inventory control by recommending rate overrides, closing/opening rate categories, and adjusting minimum stay restrictions.
  • Provide recommendations for seasonal promotions, packages, and revenue-enhancing initiatives.
  • Utilize revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and channel managers to ensure accurate and optimized rate distribution.
  • Contribute to weekly revenue strategy meetings.
  • Support annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning through data analysis.
  • Conduct displacement analyses and evaluate group proposals from a revenue optimization standpoint.
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel revenue management, data analysis, or pricing strategy.
  • Experience with systems such as SynXis, Opera, IDeaS, Duetto, TravelClick, and STR preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in a luxury resort or multi-property operation is a plus.
