The Front Desk Manager is responsible for ensuring the operation of the Guest Services, Concierge, PBX, and Uniformed Services/Transportation in an attentive, friendly, efficient, and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue, occupancy, and following Marriott high standards of quality.
You will be a part of the Magnolia Houston Hotel culinary team which masterfully crafts distinctive dishes and cultivates an authentic food experience for our guests. Your food knowledge will be put to the test as you prepare, cook, and garnish meals which are distinct by design, yet true to its place.
You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible to respond to guest requests to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and use the freedom to go beyond to turn those guest interactions into moments of magic. In addition, you will perform general maintenance tasks, complete assigned work orders, and help in the maintenance and repairs of all the areas of the property.
This position at Magnolia Houston Hotel will provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible to assist in providing leadership, guidance, and support to the front desk team in the areas of guest service, training, scheduling, and performance management for the overall successful day-to-day operations. S/he often provides the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for creating an excellent, memorable first impression. The Front Desk Supervisor is fully committed to ensuring that all procedures are performed to the department and property standards and serve as an ambassador for the property.
Responsible for the management of the Front Desk functions ensuring quality guest service and adminitrative efficency. Directs, implements and maintains a service and leadership culture which encourages both associate and guests to seek moments to be extraordinary.

The Housekeeping Room Inspector conductsinspections, and maximizes the efforts of the entire department in order to ensure compliance with all standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness, sanitation and productivity and efficiency set by the Hotel. The Room Inspector’s position is to ultimately ensure that guests of the Magnolia Houston enter a unit that is clean, sanitary and welcoming. Each Inspector will play a vital housekeeping role in ensuring all guests experience the natural beauty comfort and custom hand finished details that our guest rooms offer. They will work with business/department leadership and team members to ensure the effectiveness and overall success of the department.
