The Magnolia Hotel in Omaha, known for its historic charm and exceptional guest service, is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Manager. As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will support the Food & Beverage Director to oversee all aspects of assigned outlets (Olve & Ira’s; In-Room Dining; Banquet & Catering). From fostering a culture of excellence to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and innovation. This role is vital to ensuring the seamless operation of our food and beverage operations, to lead by example, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and driving profitability.
This position is responsible for directing and overseeing the entire food service operations throughout the property and overall leadership in the creative development and quality assurance of culinary operations. This includes directing product conceptualization, menu engineering, recipe development, item costing, concept testing, product specification development/sourcing, implementation of new menus, and ongoing quality assurance processes and systems.
You will use your mixologist talent to prepare and serve great alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for each guest, every time, all while enjoying the fun that each guest brings. While mixing and creating, the bartender is responsible for ensuring that all state, federal and property specific policies and procedures are upheld at Magnolia Hotel Omaha.
This position is responsible for oversight of the kitchen staff who prepare, cook, and garnish meals for hotel guests and patrons. The Lead Cook will provide leadership and guidance to the shift staff and also will work on the hot or cold line as needed. With focus on quality and production levels, this position will assist the culinary team with their mission to exceed customers’ expectations related to food quality and dining experience.
