This position is responsible for directing and overseeing the entire food service operations throughout the property and overall leadership in the creative development and quality assurance of culinary operations. This includes directing product conceptualization, menu engineering, recipe development, item costing, concept testing, product specification development/sourcing, implementation of new menus, and ongoing quality assurance processes and systems.

The Server Assistant/Food Runner is responsible for working with the expo to assure prompt delivery of the food that is ready in the “hot” and “cold” windows in the kitchen. The Server Assistant/Food Runner is responsible for delivery to the tables in the Food and Beverage Outlet. The Server Assistant/Food Runner and expo work both together and independently to assure that every plate looks correct and to deliver hot/cold food in a timely manner to the guests in all outlets. The Server Assistant/Food Runner together with the service staff is responsible for bringing any additional items the guests need to complete their meal.

This position shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for oversight of the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public space and heart-of-house areas. Additionally, s/he will administer all aspects of the guest room maintenance program and provide leadership, guidance and support to the housekeeping team (to include, but not limited to, laundry) in the areas of guest service, training, scheduling, and performance management for the overall successful day-to-day operations.
