You will be a part of the culinary team at Magnolia Hotel Omaha which masterfully crafts distinctive dishes and cultivates an authentic food experience for our guests. Your food knowledge will be put to the test as you prepare, cook, and garnish meals which are distinct by design, yet true to its place.
This position shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for oversight of the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public space and heart-of-house areas. Additionally, s/he will administer all aspects of the guest room maintenance program and provide leadership, guidance and support to the housekeeping team (to include, but not limited to, laundry and uniform teams) in the areas of guest service, training, scheduling and performance management for the overall successful day-to-day operations. This position is fully committed to ensuring that all procedures are performed to the department and company standards and serve as an ambassador for Magnolia Hotel St. Louis.
This position is responsible to perform all clerical tasks of the department and to assist with the department's daily operations.

The Lead Cook will provide leadership and guidance to the shift staff and also will work on the hot or cold line as needed. With focus on quality and production levels, this position will assist the culinary team with their mission to exceed customers’ expectations related to food quality and dining experience.
The general purpose of the Chief Engineer is managing the maintenance of all the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems throughout the hotel and managing the Engineering and Security Departments, establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all equipment, systems, guestrooms and public areas/ general maintenance; lead effective safety programs; coordinate and implement capital MEP improvement projects. Management of outside contracts and the functions of the engineering department in managing the work flow (repairs, maintenance, mechanical, FF&E, Life Safety Systems), of the preventive and corrective maintenance systems. Responsible for the development, implementation and training schedule of extensive Engineering Manuals to include but not limited to Policies and Procedures, equipment locations and operations, Guest Request and House Request Program, Life Safety, location of shut-off valves, isolation valves and utilities mains. These manuals will also contain numerous maps, diagrams and blueprints to be used as reference material. Provide leadership, mentoring, training, career development and annual evaluations for all Associates within the Division. Further, it includes the distribution and follow-up of work orders to related individuals and departments. In order to meet the general purpose of this position an individual must be able to multi-task, be flexible and adaptable to differing situations. A strong sense of responsibility and accountability is necessary for this position. Excellent inter-personal skills and good judgment are required for this position.

With genuine care and consideration of our guests’ expectations, you will be responsible for setting up assigned tables for our banquet functions at Magnolia Hotel Omaha. You will warmly and enthusiastically serve our guests ensuring they have everything they desire including but not limited to; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables.
The Server Assistant/Food Runner is responsible for working with the expo to assure prompt delivery of the food that is ready in the “hot” and “cold” windows in the kitchen. The Server Assistant/Food Runner is responsible for delivery to the tables in the Food and Beverage Outlet. The Server Assistant/Food Runner and expo work both together and independently to assure that every plate looks correct and to deliver hot/cold food in a timely manner to the guests in all outlets. The Server Assistant/Food Runner together with the service staff is responsible for bringing any additional items the guests need to complete their meal.
You will be an integral part of the team by excelling in consistently providing meeting products to the property’s clients, focusing on proper meeting set-ups, break downs, and configurations.
You will work within the housekeeping department at the Magnolia Hotel Omaha to monitor and maintain the availability of necessary linens and towels. You will work closely with other departments within the property to remain informed and ready with the daily necessities of the operation.
