The Security Officer is responsible for the overall security of The Westin at The Woodlands guests and assets, and is responsible to monitor assigned patrol areas.

This position provides support to all food and beverage outlets through cleanliness, organization and pace in the stewarding department at The Westin at The Woodlands. These responsibilities include using proper cleaning techniques and designated equipment to meet property needs.

You will provide outstanding clerical and administrative support including: computer input, filing, answering telephones, printing reports, maintaining files, and department records. You may provide administrative support to other key executives or departments as needed at The Embassy Suites.

This position will consistently strive to maximize revenue and promote relationships through effective negotiation of services and prices in The Woodlands Resort continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Will target and win over business via outside sales calls, hosting site inspections, planner meetings, cold calling, emailing, networking, attending industry association events, etc.

You will warmly and enthusiastically greet all incoming calls and assist callers with answers to their questions and ensure their calls are forwarded to their desired location. You are also an integral member of the team that handles emergency situations by acting as the communication center and dispatcher for the emergency response team for The Woodlands Resort.

You will be the first to welcome and the last to encourage the return of all guests and visitors to The Embassy Suites at Hughes Landing. You will provide assistance with luggage needs and connect our customers with distinctively different and unscripted discoveries throughout their stay.  

This position shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be held accountable for the successful financial results and efficiency of the housekeeping operations to include maintenance of guest rooms, public space, and heart-of-house areas. Additionally, s/he will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the housekeeping team (to include, but not limited to, laundry and uniform teams) in the areas of guest service, training, scheduling, and performance management for the overall successful day-to-day operations.
